VoIP Developer

Tasks overview

  • Deploying, developing, and integrating our software based on Kamailio and Asterisk
  • Testing and validation of our customer solutions
  • Solve complex customer problems in the VoIP field
  • Fix Bugs and create extensions in the Kamailio and Asterisk projects
  • Occasionally also tasks related to other projects in the VoIP area (like Freeswitch, automation, tools)

Requirements and skills

  • Background in real-time communication services and Kamailio, Asterisk or similar software stacks
  • Experience with communication signalling standards (SIP, RTP, HTTP etc..) and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge and experience in one major compiled programming language (e.g. C/C++, Java, C# etc..)
  • Experience with Linux, knowledge of configuration management (e.g. Ansible) would be a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in European area and one of its time zones (related to data protection and communication requirements)
  • European country citizen (related to data protection and communication requirements)
  • Self-organized and strong communication skills

General information

  • Interviews will be done over video conference
  • Depending on location and availability also an additional in-person interview will be done
  • The position can be done as freelancer in a full-remote setting or as an employee based in Cyprus
  • Full-time but also part-time possible (to some extend)

Dev Ops Engineer VoIP & Kamailio

Tasks overview

  • Deploying, developing, and integrating our software based on Kamailio
  • Testing and validation of our customer solutions
  • Solve complex customer problems in the VoIP field
  • Different non-programming tasks in the Kamailio project, e.g. documentation extensions, tests etc..
  • Occasionally also tasks related to other projects in the VoIP area (e.g. Asterisk or Freeswitch)

Requirements and skills

  • Good background in VoIP telephony and Kamailio Stack
  • Experience with signalling standards (SIP, RTP etc..) and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Debian Linux, knowledge of Ansible or another configuration management solution would be a plus
  • Fluent in English, German language skills would be a plus
  • Based in Germany (related to specific legal project requirements)
  • European country resident or having a working permit for an European country
  • Self-organized and strong communication skills

General information

  • Interviews will be done over video conference
  • Depending on location and availability also an additional in-person interview will be done
  • The position can be only done as freelancer in a full-remote setting
  • We usually do several in-person team events per year at different international locations
